Change your heroes. As you become more mature, more successful, and wiser, you need to stretch your own aspirations. It may be time for heroes (or idols) who were more sophisticated, or compassionate, or philanthropic, or worldly. You don’t have to abandon your current or past heroes, but there is plenty of room to add more.
Mindset: I’m always surprised at the books, sayings, and experiences that were so high impact years ago that were appropriate then but are no longer now.
