Take times out. Every athlete and sports team will call a time out on occasion. Many sports require downtime between innings, or periods, or rounds. No one is at full effectiveness when they are always at full speed. The tour de France is run in stages. The worst doctors are those you encounter at the end of day of back-to-back appointments and procedures.
Mindset: Schedule your times-out. Just because a time during day is available, don’t strive to fill it. The “white space” in your daily calendar will tell you how healthy you are, not the frantic stuff in the margins.
