The greatest risk is in not trying. You may strike out, or drop the ball, or fail to kick it, but you won’t even have that opportunity if you’re not in the game. There is always a risk of failing to perform, but the far greater and certain risk is failing to give yourself the opportunity to perform.
Mindset: Allow yourself to win or lose, succeed or fail, based on your effort and don’t ensure failure by the absence of any effort.
