Instead of saying, “Why would they listen to me?” or “Why would they choose me?” ask, “Why would they listen to anyone other than I?” or “Why would they choose anyone else?” Set yourself up as the logical choice, the most appropriate option. Focus on yourself as the top choice, stop worrying about others.
